Kim’s Story:
I am a proud Chicago kid, born and raised on the westside of the city in the Austin area. I attended Luther North High School in Portage Park. I continued my education at  Monmouth College where I received a bachelor's degree. Upon graduation, I started coaching at Trinity in 2016-17. I  am currently finishing my 4th year of teaching while participating in a master's program at Concordia University. I  teach Health and Anatomy & Physiology. Next year, I will be taking over the Physical Education program at Trinity.

Trinity is a special place because of all the people who came before us. They established the culture of empowerment that we now have the role of up-keeping. I started at Trinity as an assistant varsity coach and climbed the ladder  and became Head JV coach and then was awarded the head varsity role. The confidence that our leadership team has had in me during my time here is something I will always cherish.

The students at Trinity are absolutely wonderful..I’m blessed to have the opportunity to teach kids who are open and willing to learn new things in the classroom and have been fortunate enough to have kids who believe in the culture we’ve built as a basketball program.

I cannot wait to continue to help our young people grow and develop as learners, athletes and people.
