Mary Jacobs ~ My Senior Story

I felt the contagious Trinity spirit from the moment I walked into the building as a 14-year-old at the open house my parents forced me to attend. It was during that 30-minute tour that I knew that this was the place I wanted to be, and 4 years later it is still the best decision I have ever made. I have made a million memories within these walls, from running on our indoor track (better known as the second-floor hallway) to dancing in the circle drive on Captain Blazers birthday, and it is because of these unique traditions we have at Trinity that make it so special. As I look back on my years as a Blazer I am proud of who I have become as a student, athlete, and most importantly as a person. My teachers and coaches have become my role models, and my classmates have become my best friends, and each of them has helped shape me to be the best version of myself. When I had a reason to celebrate, the rest of the school celebrated with me, but more importantly when I faced hardships, it was the Trinity community that kept me standing tall and put a smile on my face. Trinity High School has become my home, and I know that even after I walk across the stage and take off my jersey for the last time, all the friends and mentors I have met here will still be standing right there beside me through college and beyond.  Xavier University, Ohio ~ Nursing, St Cletus Grade School, LaGrange
