Izzy Caballero ~ My Senior Stories

Trinity is special because I come from a family with a strong Trinity tradition. My great-grandmother graduated class of 1936, my grandmother class of 1960, and my sister graduated class of 2023, along with them, I have countless aunts and cousins who came to Trinity. It is not just my familial ties that make Trinity so special to me; it is everything that Trinity symbolizes and represents in the world that makes it so special, from the traditions to the sisterhood we share as Blazers, and everything in between.

To Future Blazers, my wish for you is that you enjoy everything Trinity has to offer. Every club, every leadership opportunity, every class, every resource, every teacher. It is all here with you in mind; you will thrive at Trinity, no matter what, but you will soar if you use and enjoy everything Trinity has to offer.

At the outset of applying to school, I knew I wanted to go far and wide. I was thinking of going East and leaving the Midwest. I applied to several small schools, one mid-sized school, and a public school. I settled on a small all-women’s near other campuses with lots of resources and a feeling very similar to the Trinity environment of endless and unwavering support, and I am so excited to go in the fall!
