Carys Reed ~ My Senior Story

Trinity is far more than a high school, as it has become my second home that has allowed me to create many lifelong friendships. The welcoming environment at Trinity is like no other, making every student feel empowered in both themselves and in their education. Ever since I entered the auditorium doors for freshmen orientation, I have felt the presence of this welcoming environment. My nerves and worries soon disappeared, and I felt a part of the Trinity community upon my first day of school. During my first year at Trinity, I participated in dance club and performed in the annual dance concert. This moment was very influential during my high school experience as it provided me with the confidence necessary to make me feel empowered, and this self-confidence has radiated within me ever since. The constant cheering from the audience truly showed me how the students came together to support every single Blazer. It was at this moment that I knew I had made the right decision in coming to Trinity.

Being an Ambassador since freshman year and becoming involved in Wyndword during my junior and senior year, I have been highly involved in the Trinity community. My involvement in these clubs has allowed me to meet many amazing people, including some of my closest friends. I will forever be grateful for the wonderful experiences that Trinity has provided me with, and all the lifelong friendships I have formed. These four years went by quickly, but they were truly the best four years of my life. I will definitely miss Trinity, but it will forever hold a special place in my heart.

In the fall, I will be furthering my education at Elmhurst University with a major in nursing. The knowledge that Trinity has provided me within the last four years has made this dream a reality, and this is a gift that I will forever be thankful for. Even though it is hard to say goodbye to such a wonderful school, I am very excited to enter the next chapter of my life. Thank you Trinity for all the amazing memories over these past four years, and Go Blazers!
