Nora Mulligan ~ My Senior Story

Trinity has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up nearby and went to so many camps here, so it always felt like somewhere I was meant to end up. Being a senior now is kind of surreal; it feels like everything came full circle.

What I’ll remember most are the little things, laughing in the hallways, random conversations, and the people who made bland days feel special. Trinity isn’t just where I went to school, it’s where I really grew up, and that’s what makes it so important to me.

My message for future Blazers is to dress up for Spirit Days. Every single one. It’s the best part of the year. Don’t worry about looking silly or “trying too hard”, that's literally the point. The more you go all out, the more fun it is. Some of my favorite memories at Trinity came from getting ready with friends, borrowing random clothes, and walking into school feeling silly but also very happy. It’s one of the few times everyone just lets loose and has fun together, and it makes the whole school feel more connected. You won’t remember what you wore on a random Saturday, but you will remember Spirit Days. So just commit to it. It’s always worth it.

What I’ll miss most about my four years at Trinity High School is the feeling of always being surrounded by people who truly get me. There’s something so special about walking through the halls and knowing you’re supported, whether it’s your best friends, girls in your classes, or even someone you’ve only talked to once. It’s a kind of comfort and belonging that’s hard to explain until you’ve experienced it.

Trinity has shaped me into someone who is more confident in who I am. I’ve learned how to use my voice, to speak up, and to stop shrinking myself to fit into spaces I’ve outgrown. It pushed me to grow, not just academically, but as a person. I’ve become more independent, more open, and more sure of what I stand for.

There’s a quote from Louisa May Alcott when she wrote Little Women that I love: “Women, they have minds, and they have souls, as well as just hearts. And they’ve got ambition, and they’ve got talent, as well as just beauty. I’m so sick of people saying that love is all a woman is fit for.” Trinity reflects that same strength, ambition, and individuality every single day.

Going to an all-girls school has given me a true sisterhood. Being surrounded by strong, driven, and supportive girls every day has taught me the power of lifting each other up instead of competing. It’s prepared me for the world ahead by showing me that my voice matters and that I should never be
afraid to use it.
