Brooke Daciolas ~ My Senior Story
“I attended St. Celestine’s Elementary School, Trinity High School, and now will be off to Arizona State University! I received the New American University President's Award Scholarship. I will be majoring in Psychology with the goal of becoming a therapist for teenagers, young adults, and children. I want to advocate for mental health awareness and make a difference in the world! Throughout my college search, I was hesitant to venture far away from my family, friends, and hometown; however, I always dreamed of living in a warm and beautiful state. I was accepted into Arizona State University and took a trip to Arizona during spring break to tour the school and visit my grandparents who live there. I immediately fell in love with the school and set my heart on moving to Arizona. I am confident and well prepared for the adventure that lies ahead and I am excited to start the next chapters of my life! Looking back on my Trinity experience, I will cherish the all-girls community that inspires young women to be empowered, confident, and successful. I love how you can wake up and simply roll out of bed and get to school and no one is there to judge you. Trinity teachers uplift students and strive to help them in every aspect of life. Trinity is a loving environment filled with laughter, joy, and so many friendships. My favorite Trinity tradition is Spirit Week, the Penny Pitch, and the Just Because Games! A message I would like to send to future Trinity Blazers is to attend the Kairos Retreat because it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and you will not regret it. Take the risk and keep an open heart and mind! Take opportunities in life, do not fear change, live life to the fullest, and strive to do what sets your heart on fire. Always remember that mistakes do not define you and that asking for help is the only way to get to where you want to be. Have confidence in yourself, chase your dreams, and live the life you always wanted!”
