Food System Exploration

Participants examine the modern food system, from production and processing to marketing and consumption, all the while developing a more informed perspective on food choices and their broader impacts.

Cooking sessions held in Dominican University’s Nutrition Labs bring classroom concepts to life, giving participants a chance to work with ingredients directly and connect theory to practice.

Participants will come away with a deeper understanding of food justice, sustainability, and the forces that shape what we eat; not to mention, practical knowledge and skills (and snacks!) that they can take home with them.
Join us Monday, July 20 – Thursday, July 23, 9AM – 12PM!
Limited to 15 participants.
