Large Scale Painting Intensive Monday - Wednesday, June 29-July 1 9 AM -11 AM Teacher: Mrs. Costello Grades 9 - 12 Blazers
Create a large-scale artwork layered with tons of fun materials this summer!
Led by one of Trinity’s IB Art teachers, Mrs. Costello, you’ll create a big, expressive painting filled with imagery, symbols, and ideas that you love. Experiment with textures, mixed media, and bold design while bringing your vision to life.
Thinking about joining the IB Art program? This is amazing practice for the class.
Didn’t take IB Art but always wanted to try the mural-style project? This workshop is for you!
Already in IB Art? Make something new and fresh outside of your portfolio.
Come get creative, try new materials, and leave with a piece that’s uniquely yours
In this workshop you will learn basic hand sewing techniques. Use these skills to make pillows, alter or mend your own clothes (eco-friendly option!), and create a foundation for further sewing and tailoring skills!
This choir intensive will provide students with the opportunity to develop their individual vocal technique, improve their ability to read music, and experiment with complex harmonies in their ensemble singing.
Students will leave this intensive having learned a complex arrangement of the National Anthem to be performed at Trinity events as well as skills that will prepare them for upcoming Trinity advanced choir auditions.
Cost: $60
Super Sitter Workshop Thursday, July 30 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Grades rising 6th - 8th and all current Blazers.
In this Trinity workshop, you will learn how to be a reliable, safe, fun, and knowledgeable Super Sitter. You will also be trained by Trinity's American Red Cross certified instructor and swim coach Mary Gibson and Shena Keith, Trinity's VP of Institutional Advancement. Topics include basic childcare (feeding, changing, activities, bedtime), handling emergencies, leadership/professionalism, activity ideas, and safety/first aid training. Lunch is included.
This intensive will give students the opportunity to build confidence and refine the skills needed for a successful theatre audition in preparation for the upcoming season!
Students will gain insight into the casting process, learn how to effectively prepare a monologue, and participate in mock auditions and receive beneficial feedback that they can incorporate into auditions for upcoming theatre productions.
In this 3-day workshop, students will learn the basics of audio capture, recording, mixing, and how those tools and techniques are used in live shows and theater. Students will learn to “see with their ears” as they experiment with different microphones, mix multitrack songs using DAW software, explore audio effects, and try their hand at mixing live sound.
This workshop is intended for anyone interested in Sound Crew and Dream Team, musicians, or other performers who want to know more about how their performances are recorded and mixed, or anyone just curious to learn a bit about a skill that combines both the artistic and technical.
