Blazer Athletic Summer Camps

Trinity's Blazer Athletic Camps offer #FutureBlazers and Blazers the opportunity to improve their skills while getting to know Trinity's coaches and athletic facilities.
BASKETBALL
 
Grades K-4
June 9 - June 12 (Mon - Thurs)
Time: 1 PM - 2:30 PM
Location: SMG Athletic Facility
Cost: $150

Grades 5-8
Week #1: June 9 - June 12 (Mon - Thurs)
Time: 2:30 PM - 4 PM

Week #2: June 16 - 18 and 20 (Mon - Wed, Fri)
Time: 1 PM - 2:30 PM
Location: SMG Athletic Facility
Cost: $150 per week ~ $275 for both weeks

High School Summer League Camp 
Grades 9-12 
June 1 - July 30
Time: Varies
Cost: $250

The basketball camp will be hosted by Trinity Head Varsity Basketball Coach, Kimberly Coleman. Coach Kim just completed her sixth season as head coach with the Blazers, guiding Trinity to its 17th regional championship in girls' basketball! Coach Kim has an abundance of coaching experience, including time at North Park University, Northwestern University basketball camp, Coach Doug Bruno Camp and Chicago Hoops Express.  Coleman says, "Basketball is a gift from God.  My goal is to use His gifts to empower each student to be their best version of themselves while representing their families and school."
Trinity Running Camp for Cross Country and Track Athletes
Grades: Incoming Freshmen -12th
 July 1- July 31 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
8AM -10AM 
Cost: $125 
Location: SMG Lobby

Trinity's Summer Running Camp is designed for high school cross country and track athletes. Led by head coach Erin Nelson '16, athletes will have workouts designed for both distance and sprint runners in mind. The camp will improve your conditioning and have you prepared for the 2025-2026 running seasons!

Trinity's softball camp will be run by head coach Chardonnay Harris. Coach Harris is in her first season at the helm of the Blazers' softball program but is no stranger to softball in the surrounding community, having made a name for herself as a back-to-back state champion at OPRF and the 2016 Gatorade Player of the Year in Illinois. Coach Harris went on to play at both Auburn and Louisville before returning to the Oak Park-River Forest area after graduating in 2022. Coach Harris has extensive experience, currently working as a lead softball instructor at the Bo Dome in nearby Bensenville.

The tennis clinic will be led by Trinity's varsity tennis coaches, including head coach Matt Guardiola. Coach Guardiola has been a coach with the Blazers since 2021, serving as an assistant coach before taking over the head coaching role in the Spring of 2024. Coach Guardiola has helped grow the Blazers' tennis roster, teaching beginners the basics of the game before starting to fine tune their tennis skills.
