Walk-a-Thon 2019

Service Learning is integral to the education fabric at Trinity High School.  In the Sinsinawa Dominican tradition, challenging young to seek faith, knowledge and truth, students are encouraged to come self-directed toward visible participation in the global community. Today we kicked off the Walk-A-Thon, which will be Trinity students’ campus wide day of service – Blazers Philanthropy in Action Walk-A-Thon, which will orientate us to the wider community and its needs.

Event Details:

Friday, September 27th is the Trinity Walk-A-Thon

Students, faculty and staff will be participating in this event.

We depart Trinity High School at 8:30am that morning and head to the Chicago Lake Front Trail.

We will walk the Chicago Lake Front Trail from North Avenue to Montrose Avenue.

Each student is expected to raise $175 in pledges as well as attend the walk.  Students with medical excuses can be excused from walking with the appropriate medical documentation.  Jobs will be assigned for these students at checkpoints (supervised by moderators) along the route.
