Trinity Girls Encourage Reading

On Thursday, April 26th Mrs. Valerie Smetana’s 2nd period freshman English students spent the morning at St. Ladislaus School to help with their Reading Day.
Trinity students were spread throughout the school and given 20 minute sessions to read with the children from Pre-K through 8th grade.  The younger children were thrilled to work with the very cool Trinity students and the older children enjoyed reading their favorite books from when they were little.  Mrs. Mary Egan thanked each of us for our participation saying, “You showed our students that you believe reading is important and more importantly that you believe they are important.”  Trinity was grateful to have the opportunity!
