Retreats
Students attend at least one retreat each year during their time at Trinity. For more information on these retreats, see below:
Kairos: December 9-11, 2021 (Seniors) and April 7-9, 2022 (Juniors) More information available in the fall.
Campus Ministry offers two optional three-day overnight Kairos retreats each year. For many students, faculty and staff, KAIROS has provided an excellent opportunity to reflect on their relationship with God and to discover how that relationship shapes their lives. Students can expect to hear from student and adult leaders about their faith journeys, connect with peers, and have meaningful opportunities for communal and individual prayer and reflection. Families and retreatants alike remark that it is “life-changing”!
Juniors and Seniors are eligible to participate in this rewarding experience that is a tradition at Trinity High School. The retreat takes place at Loyola University Retreats and Ecology Campus in Woodstock, Illinois.

Freshman Year
The freshman retreat will take place on October 13, 2021, at Trinity High School. Student leaders look forward to sharing with our new students about the Dominican Family!
Sophomore Year
Junior Year
Senior Year – The Senior Farewell
The week of graduation, seniors come together as a group to reflect on their four years at Trinity. Students have time to share memories and create goals for the years to come. The event takes place at Trinity High School following a class barbecue hosted by Student Activities and the Executive Council. This year’s Senior Farewell will take place on Tuesday, May 24th, 2022.

The Sophomore Retreat will take place on March 8, 2022. Students will spend a day with their peers reflecting on their first two years of high school. They will contemplate where they have been and where they are headed.
Junior Year
Junior Retreat will take place on February 4th, 2022. Students will spend the day with their peers examining their own identities and how they shape their ideas, goals, and hopes.
