Trinity High School has been the best decision I have ever made. Trinity has felt like home to me since November 11, 2011 when I took my first open house tour. Yes, I remember the exact date because after that night of meeting teachers, gazing at the magnificent murals in the art rooms, and talking with coaches, I had never been so excited for the future. Until now, when I graduate high school in less than 30 school days. But who’s counting? Being a Blazer has given me so many opportunities I could have never imagined. Without the IB Art and Design program I would have never figured out how much I love the fine arts. I am going to miss my paint covered uniform skirt and making endless messes in the art rooms, but I am so excited to continue exploring the fine arts at the University of Illinois at Urbana, Champaign, which would have never been possible without the help and encouragement from the amazing art teachers. When I think of Trinity High School a smile comes across my face because I am reminded of all the loving laughs I have shared with teachers and friends. I know that the life lessons I have learned at Trinity High School will stick with me forever, along with the mission statement thanks to Ms. Murphy. I am truly grateful and feel blessed to have spent the last four years at Trinity.
