Josephine Carey ~ Senior Stories

Loyola New Orleans was the exact opposite of what I was looking for. My heart was sent on going to a big university somewhere in the Pacific Northwest, but Loyola New Orleans captured my heart. It wasn’t even on my radar at first, in fact, the only reason I visited it was because it was next to Tulane, which was my top choice at the time. I wasn’t expecting to like Loyola at all, but boy I was wrong. I fell in love with the city, the atmosphere on campus, and the film program. When I went to visit I was lucky enough to meet all the film teachers and even see a movie being filmed on set. I just knew the Loyola New Orleans was the school for me. Once, I was accepted I put my deposit in as soon as possible. While I am excited for freshman year in New Orleans, I will miss Trinity and all the wonderful people I meet here. I am so grateful for my time at Trinity and I will keep it in my heart forever.
