The college process has quickly approached us seniors, and until recently I had no idea which school I wanted to attend. Many people asked me my top choice and I would say, “I have a top four, not really a preference for one over the other.” Then I realized, my senior year was coming to an end and a new chapter would start sooner than later. I had to get it together by May 1st at the latest, and I finally did! I was accepted to 22 schools. I am proud to say I will be attending college in the fall to further my education ~ at Spelman College. There is always more room to learn, so I will look at the college experience as an OPPORTUNITY as opposed to an OBLIGATION. To add on, because of the encouragement that I received from some of my closest teachers, I know I will be prepared for whatever comes my way. Special thanks to Ms. Lally (Spanish teacher for three years) for being in my corner since freshmen year. She helped me grow as a person and saw potential in me so that I would share my talent with the world. Over these past four years, she has become a mentor to me. I am forever grateful for my high school experience at Trinity, for without Trinity I would not have been exposed to the most rigorous curriculum, helpful teachers, and funniest, craziest, and AWESOME girls.
