As the countdown to graduation gets closer and closer, I cannot help but feel mixtures of enthusiasm and sadness. Although I am beyond excited to begin my new journey at Elmhurst College next Fall, I do not want to think about leaving a place I have known as my home for the past four years. Trinity has allowed me to create wonderful new friendships, engage in diverse service opportunities, explore my passions and interests, and help me grow as a person each and every day. It is bittersweet realizing my final days at Trinity are slowly approaching. I know in a blink of an eye I will be walking along the stage of Trinity with a diploma in my hand. Trinity has taught me what it means to be part of a sisterhood, and I will forever cherish the friendships I have made. I am lucky enough to say I have had some of the best people by my side the last four years, and if it was not for all the love and support given to me by faculty, staff, and students, I would not have been able to reach this new chapter in my life. The memories I will hold dear to my heart will forever revolve around my dance career at Trinity, alongside Mrs. Renfroe who pushed me to reach my fullest potential. I loved to dance before entering Trinity, but it is because of the numerous dance opportunities I have received that has led me to want to pursue dance in college. Dance has been there for me in the good times and bad, and I cannot thank Trinity enough for letting me explore my passion of dance as well as showcase my love for performing. I am eternally grateful to Trinity for preparing me for what lies ahead, and I cannot wait to embark on my new adventure in life. Thank you Trinity High School for helping me believe in myself, encouraging me to follow my dreams, and for forming me into a leader who has learned to embody knowledge, faith, and strength!
