Welcome to the wonderful world of Trinity High School, an International Baccalaureate World School fostering the pursuit of academic excellence in a single-sex learning environment. My work as Trinity’s newest and first lay President lies chiefly in strengthening the Sinsinawan Mission of social justice and spiritual awareness across the four years of a student’s experience and nurturing the support of our deep network of alumnae and friends to ensure a second stupendous century of educating and empowering young women.
The academic rigor of our dual curricula, IB and College Preparatory, is rooted in the tradition of interdisciplinary, liberal learning best-suited for college readiness. Trinity students are accepted by excellent colleges, receive highly distinctive levels of undergraduate financial aid, and start their college careers with a full complement of the skills and perspectives necessary to successful studentship even in the most demanding university environments.
Our teachers and staff are committed to the fine arts, to scholastic athletics, and to learning supportive of community engagement. Our students are happy. They learn together and become young adults together. The bonds that develop between our young women are time-tested and extend across their lifetimes. I know this first-hand. My own experience at Trinity (Class of 1978) prepared me for great achievements as a professor and academic administrator. I developed a network of fine friends whom I still love and admire for their family and community-based accomplishments. They are intellectually and emotionally-confident and they improve the world around us. I know these qualities come from a Trinity High School education.
Curious about how your own daughter would experience Trinity High School? Make an appointment to tour the campus or to visit classes and speak with our current students and their teachers. Let me personally and very sincerely welcome you to explore the distinctive possibilities for young adult learning and human development we nurture here at Trinity.
