Executive and Class Councils

Class of 2013 enjoying our annual Spirit Potluck Breakfast!

Executive Class Council

Executive Student Council is an organization that promotes spirit and leadership throughout the Trinity Community. The Executive Council follows a model of collaborative leadership in which students share leadership roles on the basis of task.  The Executive Council is comprised of students from the sophomore, junior and senior classes.   Executive Council sponsored events include leadership workshops,  service projects,  Spring and Fall Spirit Weeks, the annual Homecoming Dance, and the “Just Because” Games. By joining hearts, minds, and voices the Executive Council fosters academic, physical, emotional and spiritual growth in Trinity women.

Senior Class Council

Senior Class Council Officers promote unity in the Class of 2012 while exhibiting leadership in the Trinity community.

Special Olympics Bocce Ball Tournament

The seniors had the wonderful experience running the West Suburban Special Olympics Bocce Ball Tournament in September of 2010 at Grant Park in Northlake, IL. Each Trinity young woman was a kind, compassionate leader that day. The atheletes were amazing and this was a great way for the Class of 2012 to share their big hearts with others!

Senior Class Car Wash

The Senior Class had a most successful Car Wash this September.  The class of 2012 worked hard scrubbing and  drying cars as well as selling concessions.   It was a huge success and we congratulate them on a wonderful day of teamwork!! The proceeds go toward a class gift given to Trinity and to offset the cost of their Prom in the Spring.

Catholic Charities Toy Drive

The Senior Class sponsored Trinity’s annual Christmas Toy Drive to benefit Catholic Charities.  Over 2000 toys were collected and distributed to children and families in need throughout the Chicagoland area.  Many thanks to the class of 2012 for inspiring us to share with those in need during the Christmas season!

Junior Class Council

The Junior Class is looking forth to a new and exiting year. So far we have planned a “Pack the Gym” event at the Sister Michelle Germanson Gym on September 28th. We will be selling Taffy Apples and having a couple raffles.

Also we are planning the Junior Ring Ceremony for November helping to plan the Homecoming which is held in October.

Long term plans include Misericordia Candy Sales which is our Junior Class Project. We will be having the “Heartbreakers” from Misericordia coming to perform this year. The date has not been set but we think it will be in March prior to Easter break.

And of course the Junior Prom will be around the corner after Misericordia.

In order to keep the fundraisers and events coming we meet every Tuesday morning to get things planned. If you have any questions, comments or ideas just stop one of us in the halls or see our moderator, Mrs. Elise Matson.
