Trinity High School has been selected to participate in the 62nd annual Plumber’s Local 130 St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 11th in downtown Chicago (the parade route kicks off at Columbus Drive and Balbo Drive and proceeds along Columbus Drive to Monroe Street). Through the generosity of a benefactor, Trinity High School will be sponsoring a float and current students and alumnae will march in the parade alongside the float, spreading Trinity spirit and cheer.
In gratitude for representing Trinity High School along the parade route, students riding the bus from Trinity and marching in the parade will receive a FREE Kelly green specially designed St. Patrick’s Day Sweatshirt.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade Important Info
Trinity High School will be chartering buses for students to ride from Trinity High School to and from the official parade bus parking lot. Students wishing to march in the parade MUST gather at Trinity NO LATER than 8:30 am on Saturday, March 11th to be transported as a group to the parade holding station. The parade kicks off at noon but parade officials need Trinity’s entire group in place for training and important details. Upon completion of the parade route, students will gather and walk as a group with chaperones to the location where our buses are parked for the return trip to Trinity. Please note, parents who indicated on the permission form that Trinity High School is free to release their child at end of the parade route (at approximately Columbus and Monroe), will not be accounted for on the bus ride home.
Transportation is provided to students free of charge.
