Trinity High School, a Catholic college-preparatory high school for young women, is seeking dynamic and innovative applicants for the position of President. Approaching its centennial anniversary beginning in November 2017, Trinity is known for its International Baccalaureate Academic Program, competitive athletic teams, creative fine and performing arts curriculum, faith-filled service programs, and student-led clubs. In the Sinsinawa Dominican tradition, young women are challenged to seek faith, knowledge, and truth while developing skills for lifelong learning, an ethic of care, and the desire for excellence.

Accountable to the Board of Directors, the President provides vision and leadership and embodies the mission of the School. The President serves as the primary spokesperson for the School; represents the School externally; advances institutional development, including recruitment, public relations, and alumnae relations; manages fiscal affairs and facilities; and leads strategic planning and implementation.

The successful candidate must be a charismatic leader with commitment to Catholic education and the empowerment of young women; has a record of collaborative leadership; demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills; inspires educational excellence; has experience working with a Board of Directors; and has a strong value system, particularly in relationship with the Catholic faith.

Trinity High School is academically strong, financially stable and filled with Blazer spirit, and therefore well positioned to support our mission to educate young women to become future leaders. We serve a community of 500 students in River Forest, IL, a suburb of Chicago rich with cultural opportunities and easy access to the city. More information is available at www.trinityhs.org.

We’re looking for a unique combination of skills, personality and passion and welcome candidates with corporate, nonprofit, public service, education or other backgrounds. If you would like to learn more about this leadership opportunity, interested candidates are invited to inquire with questions or respond with a cover letter and resume to the attention of Beth Smoots at William E. Hay & Co.,bethsmoots@gmail.com.
