Beginning October 27th and running through November 5th, 2010, Trinity students and faculty shared in Dia de los Muertos, Day of the Dead, celebration.
This event was a creative collaboration between faculty members and student volunteers who assembled a beautiful altar display in the chapel with photos of deceased loved ones and culturally rich symbols. On November 2nd, 2010 this special event culminated in a prayer service and festive reception. Ms. Alterson and her class provided tissue decor for the reception which included papel picados and flowers. Many thanks to faculty members Kelly Banos-Parra, Tamariz Irlanda, campus minister Tara Suchland and Mr. Loesch and his Diversity Club for organizing such a beautiful event!
