Peacebuilders Initiative
Five
young women from Trinity have been selected to be part of the
Peacebuilders Initiative: Rachel Blonski '05, Kelly Mullins
'05, Hillary Holzer '05, Taina Santiago '07 and Moshini Sivasubramaniam
'07. Students involved in the Peacebuilders program make a year
commitment; they learn about issues in the church and their
part in the 'now' and the future of the church, attend sessions
about the issues in the church, learn and serve at different
service sites or agencies in the Chicagoland area, and commit
to a 'Peace Project" that they design to be done in their
community/school.
Preaching Conference
Three young women accompanied Trinity's campus minister, Karen
Cutler, this summer to Adrian Michigan for the Dominican Preaching
Conference - the young women are: Megan Cannella '06, Sarah
Gaziano '06 and Ymelda Viramontes '06.
