Trinity Girls Show Compassion in Service
Trinity High School opened its doors this August to young women for the eighty - seventh year. In keeping with the five Sinsinawa Dominican Gospel values of Truth, Justice, Compassion, Community and Partnership , that all Sinsinawa Dominican sponsored schools have adopted, Trinity Compassion has been identified Compassion as its the focus for this school year.
Through academics, co-curricular activities and service, each And as the focus the girls will continue their mission of service. Each Trinity student is encouraged to become self-directed toward responsible participation in the Christian community in order to impact society, Church, and family in the twenty-first century. One of the best ways to demonstrate this is the over 16,000 hours of community service Trinity students perform each year.
Every Each student is required to full-fill serve ten hours of service each per year , with the majority of students serving well beyond that minimum either on their own or with the over thirty clubs and organizations offered at Trinity. An International Effort
A fundamental part of the International Baccalaureate program is the service component which requires requirement of one hundred and fifty hours of community service, leadership, school involvement and creativity. We at Trinity embrace s the goal of educating the whole person and fostering a more compassionate citizenry. This comes alive in an immediate way when students reach beyond themselves and their studies to assist others.
