Members of the Misericordia “Heartbreakers” recently performed for students at Trinity High School to kick off their annual Misericordia/Jelly Belly Candy Days. Trinity High School’s junior class enlisted sophomores and seniors for help in selling candy as part of their annual class service project. Freshmen were responsible for selling candy inside the school. Trinity High School students volunteered over 16,000 hours of service so far this year. “This was a great day and the girls help added to an all time high for our area” said Sue Stone, coordinator for collecting in district 5. Every student at Trinity contributes service to the community as individuals, thru clubs, with teams and as a class. Trinity students are encouraged to become self-directed toward responsible participation in the Christian community in order to impact society, Church and family in the twenty-first century.
