Women
In Science and Technology
As reported in the winter/spring 1997 issue of the LINK.
"Wonderful,
lively speaker, great sense of humor," were some of the
glowing commentary that students used to describe the Keynote
speaker, Dr. Zafra Lerman of Columbia College. They found
her ability to integrate sciences and the arts most facinating,
and they were in awe that she was able to hold their attention
every moment. The very fact that Trinity offers such stimulating
science and fine arts programs and they were able to understand
how the two could meld in such harmony is truly a testament
to the curriculum for our young women.
The accolades continued to flow as the students described
the many presentations they had attended. Each student was
able to choose two fields of interest from the following:
Christine Anderson, Respiratory Care, Judy Beto, Nutrition,
Judy Bohn, Surgical Technician, Christine Caponigri '85, Computer
Systems Engineering, Carie Carney, Construction Consulting,
