| For
many years, Trinity has been offering a career day for our students
during the month of March. Past days have focused on medicine,
the arts, science, communication and technology. This year's
Career Day was held on Wed., Mar. 12, 2003 and focused on women
in business as women entrepreneurs or senior managers. We were
very pleased to have among our twenty-six speakers, alumnae,
and mothers of students and faculty family members. All our
speakers are accomplished businesswomen who can speak to the
challenges and issues prevalent in American business including
glass ceiling, ethics, leadership, balancing careers, and business
start-ups. This year Trinity High School will be integrating
recent research findings from the Committee of 200 and the Simmons
School of Business Management regarding teenager's perception
of business, in this career day curriculum. For more information
on this research visit www.c200.org.
The
following THS alumnae presenters were: Tammy Krcmar Bakker
