On Tuesday, February 26th, Ms. Quimby and Mrs. Bedell accompanied thirteen of Trinity’s Art Club members for a service project at St. Mary of Providence, a home for developmentally and physically challenged women. Both residents and Trinity students were excited at the prospect of working together to create art! The girls introduced many different art materials and techniques to the residents. It was a wonderful, creative experience. After the session, each St. Mary’s resident picked their favorite work of art, and watched as the girls placed a frame around it, so that the finished piece could be hung in her room. Currently, the Art Club is working on the annual “Chairs for Charity” Program. This year's proceeds will go to St. Mary of Providence.
