Dear Coach and/or Athletic Director,
My name is Katy Schabes and as the Head Volleyball Coach at Trinity High School I am excited to announce that Trinity will host our fifth annual 7th and 8th grade volleyball tournament. The tournament will run from March 20-21st at the Sister Michelle Germanson, OP Athletic Facility, 7574 W. Division, River Forest. Along with my coaching staff, I would like to extend an invitation to your school to participate in this fun-filled event.
Teams will be accepted into the tournament on a first come, first serve basis. Please keep in mind that 7th and 8th grade level teams will be competing against each other in this multi-grade level tournament. Only one team per grade level will be accepted from each school. Each team will play seven games in pool play and advancing teams can play a maximum of three matches during the single elimination portion of the tournament on Sunday. All games will follow IHSA rules and regulations.
Participating teams will be placed into two pools via a blind draw. Pool play will take place on Saturday, March 20. The top teams from each pool will advance to the playoffs on Sunday, March 21. T-shirts will be awarded to all participating teams. Although your roster is not limited, a maximum of twelve player T-shirts will be provided for each team. You may order additional T-shirts at $8 per shirt, but this additional order must be included with your registration form.
This year’s entry fee is $200. Space is limited so be sure to complete the registration form and submit your fee early. Your team's place in the tournament will not be held without your completed registration, including T-shirt sizes, and payment. Please make checks payable to Trinity Athletics. The entry deadline is March 1.
