Varsity Books Online Buyback

The Varsity Books Online Buyback is now open for business! Parents and students can sell their books online until July 31. Go to www.VarsityBooks.com and click on the Online Buyback tab at the top of the home page. The Online Buyback is easy to use and a convenient prepaid shipping label is provide.

HOW DO I SHIP MY BOOKS TO VARSITY?
Once you have accepted and confirmed your price quote, print your packing slip and follow the instructions for securely packing your books. Also print the prepaid UPS shipping label that you received via email and affix the label to your box of books. Drop off the package at any UPS store or UPS shipping outlet.

WHAT BOOKS WILL VARSITY BE BUYING BACK?
We generally buy textbooks that are being used by your school and other eduPartner schools in the upcoming school year. We do not buy some novels, some softcover textbooks, workbooks, lab manuals or other books students typically write in for classes.

WHAT CONDITION DO MY BOOKS HAVE TO BE IN IF I WANT TO SELL THEM?
Only textbooks in good, resalable condition will be accepted. We do not accept textbooks with excessive highlighting or markings, water damage, or missing pages. Damaged but repairable books (e.g. broken binding or damaged cover) will be bought at a 50-75% markdown of the price quote.

HOW MUCH CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE FOR MY USED BOOK?
Students can expect to receive anywhere from 25-40% of the new book price. Prices are based primarily upon the condition, adoption status, and total demand for the book.

WHEN CAN I EXPECT PAYMENT FOR MY BOOKS?
You can expect to receive payment by check 30 days after we receive your books and verify their condition.
