Abraham Lincoln Award – Trinity’s Abe Babes
The ABRAHAM LINCOLN ILLINOIS HIGH SCHOOL BOOK AWARD is sponsored by the Illinois School Library Media Association. Each year 22 books are nominated by a group of Librarians and teen readers from throughout Illinois. Teens are invited to read these books and vote for their favorite. To be eligible to vote, teens must read at lest four different books from the list. Trinity girls who are eligible to vote are invited to a special breakfast in the Library in April. The name of the winning book is revealed and the books nominated for the next year are presented for checkout.
