Vicariate Youth Leadership Award Recipients
Each year in Vicariates in the Archdiocese of Chicago students are recognized and affirmed for their contributions to their High School or Parish in the area of Faith Development. This year Trinity High School recognized 12 young women who have contributed their gifts to enhance the faith life of the Trinity High School Community. In addition 4 Trinity students were recognized for enhancing the faith life in their Parish.
Students are nominated in one or more of the following categories:
CATECHESIS: Those who are involved in as retreat leaders, prayer leaders or help in the area of religious education as teachers/aides.
COMMUNITY LIFE: Those involved in creating an environment that nurtures meaningful relationships and are rooted in Gospel values
JUSTICE & SERVICE: Those involved in service programs (soup kitchen, shelter work, mission trips, food drives, etc.)
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT: those involved in leadership positions in youth, community, Vicariate, Diocesan or School or Parish Programs (clubs, retreats, etc.)
PRAYER & WORSHIP: Those involved in Liturgical roles as Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Cantors, Choir Members, musicians, altar servers, planners, etc.

Each person received a Certificate and Medal at a banquet held, Tuesday, March 15th at Villa Brunetti in Franklin Park. At Trinity the young women are nominated by Campus Minister, Karen Cutler. In their parishes the young women are nominated by their Pastors, Youth Ministers or Directors of Religious Education.
