Trinity High School Announces Illinois State Scholars
Local Students Earn Prestigious Honor
Trinity High School is proud to announce its 2006 Illinois State Scholars: Erin Barth from Berwyn; Sarah Cordon, Lauren Ivack, Christi McNamara, Kathleen Pawlowski and OsCiriah Sostan from Chicago; Sonia Kwiecinska and Lisa Macchione from Elmwood Park; Caitlin McNulty and Moshini Sivasubramaniam
from Forest Park; Kathleen Dobruse, Amy Wax and Anna Wilson from Oak Park; Debra Finnegan, Rebecca Saunders and Sarah Saunders from River Forest; and Marijo Boskey from Riverside. These young girls represent 17% percent of their class.
The Illinois State Scholars program recognizes Illinois High School students for outstanding academic achievement. Selection is based on ACT test results and the student’s class rank at the end of their junior year of high school. While the program does not provide a monetary award, qualified students are encouraged to list this prestigious honor on college admissions and scholarship applications.
