National Merit Scholarship Commended Students
Trinity High School is proud to announce top honor students; Kathleen Dobruse and Anna Wilson of Oak Park along with Sarah Saunders and Rebecca Saunders of River Forest were named Commended Students in the 2006 National Merit Scholarship Program. They are four of the 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation being recognized for exceptional academic promise. Commended Students placed among the top five percent of more than one million students who entered the 2006 competition by taking the 2005 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). Kathleen is hoping to attend the University of Chicago and plans to major in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. Anna is hoping to attend Stanford University and plans to major in Chemical Engineering. Sarah is hoping to attend the University of Notre Dame or Dartmouth University and plans to major in Biology. Rebecca is hoping to attend either the University of Notre Dame or Washington University and plans to major in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. |
