INCOMING FRESHMAN SCHOLARS

We are especially proud to announce a group of scholars from
the Class of 2009, our incoming freshmen. These girls earned
honors and scholarships through their scholastic achievement
and leadership in their elementary schools.
Our Premier Dominican Scholarship is awarded to students who place highest on our entrance test and are awarded to:
Kristen Gayer - St. Celestine
Kayleigh Vercnocke - Brooks Middle School
The Honors Scholarship is given to 4 students who have a superior score on the entrance exam; recommendation of principal and junior high teachers and also a written essay. The Honors Scholarship goes to:
Alice Brady - Percy Julian Middle School
Chloe Dzielak - Our Lady of Victory
Anne Logisz - St. Bruno
Kristin Pokrovac - St. Daniel the Prophet
The Sister Natalie-Sister Viviana Scholarship is awarded to students from our neighboring Dominican schools. The winners of these scholarships are in the top fifth of their graduating class, have displayed qualities of leadership, character, and service and have been recommended for this award by their principals and junior high teachers. This year's recipients of these scholarships are:
Giana Paterno - St. Vincent Ferrer
Monica Huback - St. Giles
Carolyn Brander - St. Luke
The Catherine Kelly-Brady Scholarship is awarded to the daughter or grandaughter of an alumni who will be in the class of 2009 and is a graduate of a Catholic elementary school and shows academic promise. This year’s recipient is:
Emily Landa from Ascension School
