LEADERSHIP AWARDS
THE SINSINAWA DOMINICAN FOUNDER’S DAY AWARD awarded earlier this year to a senior student who exemplifies the qualities of Father Samuel Mazzuchelli, founder of the Sinsinawa Dominicans – spiritual, courageous, open-minded. This year award goes to Anna de Avila.
CATHERINE KELLY BRADY YEARBOOK EDITOR SCHOLARSHIP is awarded to the Editor of the Yearbook for thee 2007-2008 school year. The award is given in the name of Mrs. Brady, Class of 1940 and editor of 1940 Yearbook. This year’s award will be shared by Kathleen Camarano and Emily Sitton.
CINDY ROMANO CHRIST IAN LEADERSHIP AWARD named after Cindy Romano, alumna, class of 1974, and campus minister at Trinity from 1991 - 1999, goes to a sophomore or junior at Trinity whose faith gives direction to her life and integrates service as a part of her life. This year’s award goes to Mary Henneberry.
CHRIST IAN WOMANHOOD AWARD is given each year to a senior who has exemplied the values given us by Jesus. She witnesses to service, the customs and contributions of other cultures as well as her own. This year’s winner is Colleen Burzynski.
EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR recognizes an educator who exemplifies the same pursuit of knowledge and desire for excellence that she or he calls forth from students. This year’s award goes to Mrs. Mary Barrett.
