THS presents two theatrical productions every year. In the fall we present a musical and in the early spring we present a comic or dramatic play. Students are encouraged to audition for acting roles as well as provide technical support in the areas of lighting,
sound, costumes, set construction and stage management. All of our productions are run solely by our students with the aid of the drama director.
Each production that a student is involved in provides them with points needed to join The International Thespian Honor's society.
We also offer several theatre courses in our yearly curriculum including Introduction to Theatre, Theatre Stagecraft, Basic Acting and Advanced Acting. |
