Saint Patrick’s Men’s Choir will have a concert on Tuesday, December 15th which will include Trinity High School’s Chamber Choir and Le Ragazze ensemble. The program will begin at 7:30 at St. Pat's. Saint Patrick’s will also be joining us the following evening.

Christmas Fine Arts Program & "Light in the Night" Choral Concert Come hear the Trinity High School Choirs in the program “Light in the Night”. We will be performing at the Fine Arts Evening on Wednesday, December 16 th, 2009 at 7:00. Groups will include the Chamber Choir, Bel Coro Choir, Le Ragazze and guests from St. Patrick’s men’s choir. There will be a variety of music selections and a few special effects, too. One night only so don’t miss it! Entrance is complimentary for this evening of holiday song and spirit. Gallery opening begins at 6:30 and reception immediately following.

Professor of Music Works With The Chamber Choir

Bel Coro (beautiful choir) is open to all students at Trinity High School each block. They perform in at least two liturgy services and at one of the fine arts programs either in December or May. Girls learn how to sight read music, the basic theory of music and vocal performance technique. There is an outside listening credit required for concert observation. The requirement is a desire to learn more about music. Chorus is a full credit class and meets within the school day.

Advanced Bel Coro (beautiful choir) is for students who have taken Bel Coro for one block previously. It requires previous choral experience and the permission of the teacher. It continues sight-reading, theory and choral performance. Bel Coro is an advanced class that receives a full credit and meets within the school day.

Chamber Choir
Chamber choir girls audition for participation in the fall and the spring. They meet regularly throughout the year during 3A/3B periods. Regular attendance is mandatory. They help lead during all liturgy and prayer services and perform at the Trinity Fine Arts Program. They perform a variety of repertoire and many different musical styles.

Le Ragazze (the girls)
Le Ragazze is an auditioned small group of advanced vocal students who are members of chamber choir and are involved in additional performances outside of the school day. Rehearsals are 3B twice a week or more as needed. Independent vocal singing and solo’s are important in the ensemble.

Student Accompanist – advanced piano students may audition to be the accompanist for the choirs.
