Sept. 25, 2008- Trinity v. Wheaton Academy : JV Lost, 2-5
Junior Varsity
- Although it was a loss to a much more experienced team, I feel this match exhibited the spirit of the team. Molly Kunkel and Dolores Ferenac at 2nd doubles won 9-7 despite loud cheering from the opposing team's supporters, with Molly hitting the winning shot at net. Liz Pasquini played at 1st singles, even after spending the night before in the emergency room, and lost 6-8.  Emma Lang and Gina Sapienza lost at 1st doubles 6-8. Anna Savio and Julia Sloan played 3rd doubles, with Julia dislocating her shoulder in the middle of the match and pushing it back herself (I wanted her to retire). They continued to the end of the match, losing, 3-8. Despite our loss, I was very proud of our girls- they showed great team spirit and determination.
