2007-2008 Season Recap
The Varsity Soccer Team got off to an incredible start winning their first 7 games and ended up having the best season in Trinity Soccer history with a 16-5-1 record. Another first occurred when  the Blazers won the St. Francis of Wheaton Tournament bringing home Trinity High School's first championship soccer trophy! The Blazers had a strong offensive attack outscoring opponents 57-18. Senior Co-captain Eleni Nikols led the team in goals scored and the Blazers showed a very balanced attack with 15 different players scoring goals throughout the season.  Junior Midfielders Gina and Michelle LaRose dominated the center of the field both adding several assists. Anchored by Junior Goalkeeper Adriana Preston and Sophomore Sweeper Denise Nelson, the Blazers were solid defensively recording 10 shutouts on the season (another Trinity soccer record!).  The Blazers took third place in the GCAC Red Division this year and were also Regional runner's up in the State Tournament.
